Self bondage

Self-bondage is basically just tying your own body parts – to each other or to something else – in such a way that you can’t move.

Think of feet, legs, hands and arms. This can be done with ropes or other tools. The thrill of self-bondage is very exciting for many people. The danger that you cannot escape if something happens is, as it were, very attractive. And yet, surprisingly, you can also feel very free again. Quite logical actually, because you don’t have to do anything at all, you have no responsibilities. To be fair, we all need it at times. Whatever your reason, self-bondage has something to offer everyone.

How do you do self-bondage?

If you have not done anything with bondage yet – let alone self-bondage – it is not wrong to start simple to see if you like it at all. For example, go for a set of wrist cuffs and tie your arms to a chair or the bed. Do you still find that a bit tricky? Then try metal police cuffs. They have a small (hidden) lever with which you can click yourself without a key. If you prefer to switch to bondage ropes, you will have to delve into some knotting techniques.
