Due to the massive manufacturing even the small version of the handcuff is a true heavy-weight and weighs in on 480 grams. Both cuffs show a precise manufacturing and are equipped with a clasp. The cuffs are positioned on after another while the clasp automatically arrests in the right position. A key is not necessary for the closing and locking of the hand shackles. In order to open the handcuffs, the key only needs to be inserted. Like the oval shape of the bows the unusual locking mechanism is not only and eyecatcher due to its interesting look – through the oval form it also fits better and therefore is safer. A further point of interest for collectors and presentation: The Kubind Hamburg 8 handcuff can be folded together because of its offset bows. The Kubind handcuff is available in a small and a large variation. The small version has an inner circumference of 16,2 cm. The inner circumference of the large version measures 19,5 cm. De handboei is gemaakt van massieve kwaliteit en is door zijn glanzend gepolijste materiaal een echt hoogtepunt in elke collectie. Toch is het niet alleen het ontwerp, maar ook de combinatie van ontwerp en functie die de sluiting tot een bijzonder verzamelobject maken. De Kubind Hamburg 8 ovale handboei is gemaakt van messing en vernikkeld. Vanwege de massieve fabricage is zelfs de kleine versie van de handboei een echt zwaargewicht en weegt 480 gram. Beide manchetten vertonen een nauwkeurige fabricage en zijn voorzien van een sluiting. De manchetten worden na elkaar geplaatst terwijl de sluiting automatisch in de juiste positie vastzit. Een sleutel is niet nodig voor het sluiten en vergrendelen van de handschakels. Om de handboeien te openen hoeft alleen de sleutel te worden ingestoken. Net als de ovale vorm van de bogen is het ongebruikelijke vergrendelingsmechanisme niet alleen een eyecatcher door zijn interessante uitstraling – door de ovale vorm past het ook beter en is daardoor veiliger. Nog een aandachtspunt voor verzamelaars en presentatie: de Kubind Hamburg 8 handboei kan worden samengevouwen vanwege de offset strikken. De Kubind handboei is verkrijgbaar in een kleine en een grote variant. De kleine versie heeft een binnenomtrek van 16,2 cm. De binnenomtrek van de grote versie is 19,5 cm. De sleutel is bij de levering inbegrepen.
