Rimba is opgericht in 1971 en is gevestigd in Etten-Leur, een dorp in het zuiden van Nederland. De oprichter van Rimba was een succesvolle zakenman die handelde in luxe parfums. Bij toeval hoorde hij over de vraag naar erotische kleding en seksartikelen, iets wat in die jaren niet zo duidelijk was. Na het uitvoeren van een marktonderzoek is een klein assortiment vervaardigd. De eerste artikelen werden met veel enthousiasme ontvangen en toen begon het balletje te rollen. Van de een kwam de ander. Er werd een studio opgericht en er werd gestart met de productie van erotische artikelen. Met een flinke dosis gezonde creativiteit en vooral door te luisteren naar de vragen en wensen van klanten, werd het assortiment snel uitgebreid. Op dat moment was er niet veel concurrentie op de markt en groeide het bedrijf snel. Klanten werden ook over de grens geworven, eerst in Duitsland, maar al snel gevolgd door Frankrijk en Zwitserland. We hebben nu klanten in heel Europa, maar je kunt onze producten vinden in seksshops over de hele wereld.Dutch reliability
Rimba was founded in 1971 and is located in Etten-Leur, a village in the south of the Netherlands. The founder of Rimba was a successful businessman who traded in luxury perfumes. By chance he learned about the demand for erotic clothing and sex articles, something that was not so obvious in those years. After conducting a market investigation, a small assortment was manufactured. The first articles were received with great enthusiasm and then the ball started rolling. From one came the other. A studio was set up and the production of erotic articles was started. With a good dose of healthy creativity and especially by listening to the questions and wishes of customers, the range was quickly expanded. At that time there was not much competition on the market and the company quickly grew. Customers were also acquired across borders, first in Germany but soon followed by France and Switzerland.
