Comfort and feel

The straps look severe and uncompromising, but the functional padding is surprisingly soft and comfortable. Wrists and ankles tends to get somewhat warm after a while, but it’s a comfortable sort of warmth and nothing to complain about. The belt and shoulder harness is also pretty comfortable and can be configured to give you as much or little lateral movement as you want. It is very comfortable to ly on your back, keep the side positioning straps on their minimum setting, which keeps you lying flat on your back with no lateral movement possible. The bed strap keeping the belt in place also have two wide loops, which are used to secure wrist restraints. You can either use the loops alone which allows for some movement (but not much), or you can lock the ends of each strap to the side positioning straps. The latter will allow very little movement. This may be a mixed blessing depending on what you are aiming for.

Comfort en gevoel

De riemen zien er streng en compromisloos uit, maar de functionele vulling is verrassend zacht en comfortabel. Polsen en enkels worden na een tijdje nogal warm, maar het is een comfortabele soort warmte en niets om over te klagen. Het riem- en schouderharnas is ook behoorlijk comfortabel en kan worden geconfigureerd om u zoveel of weinig zijwaartse beweging te geven als u wilt. Het is zeer comfortabel om op je rug te liggen, de zijpositioneringsbanden op hun minimale stand te houden, waardoor je plat op je rug blijft liggen zonder dat er een zijwaartse beweging mogelijk is. De bedriem die de riem op zijn plaats houdt, heeft ook twee brede lussen, die worden gebruikt om polssteunen vast te zetten. Je kunt de lussen alleen gebruiken voor wat beweging (maar niet veel), of je kunt de uiteinden van elke riem aan de zijpositioneringsbanden vergrendelen. De laatste laat heel weinig beweging toe. Dit kan een gemengde zegen zijn, afhankelijk van waar je naar streeft.
