Rimba was founded in 1971 and is located in Etten-Leur, a village in the south of the Netherlands. The founder of Rimba was a successful businessman who traded in luxury perfumes. By chance he learned about the demand for erotic clothing and sex articles, something that was not so obvious in those years. After conducting a market investigation, a small assortment was manufactured. The first articles were received with great enthusiasm and then the ball started rolling. From one came the other.
